Oregon’s Chris Duarte wins Jerry West shooting guard of the year award

EUGENE Oregon’s Chris Duarte was literally the best shooting guard in the country this season and he has been honored as such.
Duarte won the 2021 Jerry West shooting guard of the year award from the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, the first Pac-12 player to ever receive the honor.
The third team All-American and AP Pac-12 Player of the Year, Duarte averaged 17.1 points and shot 53.2% from the field, including 42.4% from three.
