In January 2020, Stine was appointed as a Head of Customer Segment Municipality in TietoEVRY Norway. Just like that, she went from maternity leave to a new role in the top leadership group of the country s biggest tech company. My first thought was actually oh no! , Stine says and continues with a laugh; Then I had to go several rounds and think about whether a leadership role like this was the right thing for me to do at that moment.

Bilousov, explains that for  “Cemsies” it is mandatory to take a semester abroad.  Vinnikainen was originally set to travel to India, but it got cancelled due to the coronavirus situation, and she eventually ended up in Bergen instead. They both emphasize on how Bergen feels like a safer place to be amid the pandemic compared to many other places at the moment, while Fenton says he was “desperate for an in-person experience”. New expert group to assess climate impact on Norway s sovereign wealth fund

Image: Shutterstock The Norwegian Government is appointing a new expert group to examine how climate change, climate policy and the green transition may affect the country’s sovereign wealth fund. The group will assess the importance of financial climate risk and climate-related investment opportunities for the $1 trillion (£0.72tn) Government Pension Fund Global (GPFG) under different scenarios. The Ministry of Finance is concerned how climate change and policies could affect the management, risk and returns of the Fund, therefore, a report from the expert group will provide alternative approaches to addressing these issues and discuss whether new, climate-related knowledge is important to underpin the Fund’s investment strategy.
