A West Australian minor political party that promotes daylight saving is applying to change its name in a move some experts say is designed to confuse voters.

There has never been a time to be more afraid as West Australians emerge from Christmas and New Year to the beginnings of a state election in an environment of bushfires, out of control levels of violent crime, and the ever-present threat of COVID-19 as Victorians are locked out of WA.
Brisbane s three-day lockdown, announced on Friday morning, did not bode well for West Australians in Queensland who now face tougher border restrictions if they want to come back to their home state.
