âAs I speak you today there is a common thread of partnership and collaboration,â Beaupre said. âThat thread is what helps to create stronger municipalities in this region.â
COVID forced the county to be nimble, adjust plans and be compassionate in the delivery of services and coming out of restrictions. The future looks bright.

“Our highlight project is the twinning of Highway 40,” Smith said. “It is a joint funding project with the province and the County of Grande Prairie. We felt that this project was critical to the region. Greenview has committed $60 million to this project, which is roughly a 50 per cent stake in the project.
