Woman, 65, died days after collapsing at her house A woman died just days after collapsing at her Marlow home, an inquest heard today. Paula Taplin, 65, was found unconscious by her son Oliver on the morning December 14 last year, slouched in her chair at home in Seymour Court Road with blood coming out of her nose. Beaconsfield Coroner’s Court heard how Oliver returned home at 10.30pm on the 13th to find his mum in a chair in the living room, with the bathroom door “off the hinges”. He asked her whether she had been in the bathroom, to which she replied she had not.

Yvonne Costin’s neighbours discovered she had died after they went to check on her at her home in Buckingham Gate, Medmenham, on September 12 last year, when she stopped responding to her husband Andrew’s messages. Two notes were found written to her children that contained “expressions of sorrow and intent”, as well as various packets of opened and unopened medication, the inquest was told. In a statement read out to Beaconsfield Coroner s Court on Wednesday, Mr Costin, who is in the RAF, said he was away for work and was informed by their neighbour that Mrs Costin, 47, had passed away.

Pamela Harris, 89, was due to be picked up for an appointment at an eye clinic by South Central Ambulance Service on November 18 last year, but paramedics called Thames Valley Police when they could not get an answer at her door in Widdenton View, Lane End. An inquest into Mrs Harris’s death at Buckinghamshire Coroner’s Court on Wednesday afternoon heard how PC Sophie Wright and her colleague forced entry into her house at around 1.30pm and tragically found her laying at the bottom of the stairs.
