Sanjrani condoles demise of Usman Kakar

ISLAMABAD: Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani, along with a parliamentary delegation, visited the residence of former senator and leader of the Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party, the late Muhammad Usman Khan Kakar, at Muslim Bagh in Balochistan. Reports said Sadiq Sanjrani offered his condolences to the family of Usman Kakar, and prayed to Almighty Allah to shower his blessing on the departed soul and grant him eternal peace. The chairman also prayed for the bereaved family. He also expressed his deep condolences over the sad demise of the late senator and remarked, “Balochistan has lost a veteran politician, a true representative of the people inside and outside of the parliament.”

Govt decides to conduct judicial probe into death of Usman Kakar

QUETTA: The Balochistan government on Sunday decided to hold a judicial inquiry for late Senator Usman Kakar’s tragic death, ARY News reported.
According to details, the provincial government has ordered the formation of an investigation team under the supervision of two judges of the Balochistan High Court (BHC).
Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) leader and former senator Usman Khan Kakar had passed away in Karachi on Monday. He was 60.
Kakar was critically injured after he fell in his house leading to severe brain injury. He had been shifted to Karachi’s private hospital after head surgery in Quetta.

Islamabad : A condolence reference was held here on Sunday for former Senator Usman Kakar of the Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party, who died from a head injury last Monday.
Noted among participants were former Balochistan governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai, PkMAP Senator Sardar Muhammad Shafiq Tareen, Pakistan People s Party secretary general Farhatullah Babar and seasoned politician Afrasiab Khattak.
The speakers paid homage to Usman Kakar over his struggle for civil supremacy, constitutionalism and rule of law in the country, and demanded an independent inquiry to determine the real cause of his death.
Senator Shafiq Tareen paid tribute to the deceased for being the voice of the voiceless and oppressed people in the country and said mysterious circumstances surrounded his death, so an independent probe should be launched to reveal why and how the death occurred.
