The company had stopped sourcing from Bangladesh following the fire and building collapse disasters in 2013. An official notification from Disney is yet to be published, BGMEA said in a press release. BGMEA President Faruque Hassan welcomed the move by The Walt Disney in recognition to the all-out progresses and transformation in the industry, particularly in the area of workplace safety, social standards and environmental sustainability.
