Govt to procure 12.85 lakh MT fuel oil for Jan-June period 457 DHAKA, Jan 6, 2021 (BSS) – The Cabinet Committee on Government Purchase (CCGP) today approved nine proposals including one for procuring 12.85 lakh metric tons of refined fuel oil for January to June period of this year with a cost of Taka 4,384.58 crore. The approval came from the 1st meeting of the CCGP in this year held virtually with Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal in the chair. Briefing reporters after the meeting virtually, Cabinet Division Additional Secretary Dr Abu Saleh Mostafa Kamal informed that Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) would procure this fuel oil from various sources of different countries for this six-month period.
