Bangladesh gets record 31 lakh new mobile internet users in March

Bangladesh added 31.37 lakh new mobile internet users in March in its subscriber base, which is the highest monthly addition in around a year and a half.
The country now has 11.61 crore internet users, of which 10.63 crore browse internet through mobile devices, according to data of Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission.

Shahed Alam, the chief corporate and regulatory officer of the carrier, said they hope the funds will be released this month.
Robi will need to repay the credit over a period of seven years. The officials of the company declined to reveal the interest rate.
The firm in 2015 had secured $99 million from the IFC .
Shahed said the previous loan issue has already been settled.
