Audio album ‘Mahakabi’ Bangabandhu released Sun Online Desk 19th December, 2020 10:53:08 An audio album titled ‘Mahakabi’ Bangabandhu (Mahakabi- a great poet in English ), has been released marking the birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) in association with Music of Bengal released the album. A publication ceremony was held at the Officers’ Club in Dhaka on Saturday evening.    Music of Bengal started its journey as a production organisation by releasing this album. The logo of Music of Bengal was also unveiled at the event.       Artiste Kamal Ahmed sang a total of 10 songs on Bangabandhu.       Attending the event as chief guest, State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid said people have remembered Bangabandhu in many ways although the birth centenary programme of Bangabandu did not take place elaborately due to Coronavirus pandemic.
