Since then, the home-grown automaker hadn t introduced a price hike for the e scooter even once even as the rest of the industry introduced price hikes. Well, it has been more than a year now and Bajaj Auto has finally decided to jump on the price hike bandwagon. Yep, the two-wheeler manufacturer has silently increased Bajaj Chetak e scooter s price in India. Bajaj Chetak s availability is still restricted to Bengaluru and Pune, where it now retails for ₹1.15 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base Urbane variant.
