Zoom workshops are replacing foreign trips - which are included in the fees of a number of masters courses, which students say cost over 1,600 euro per person.
UL’s PostGraduate Student Union are calling for a refund to be issued to affected students and say the response from the university so far has been wholeheartedly unsatisfactory . The Union issued the following statement:Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, many postgraduate students were not able to reap the full benefits of their courses. The restrictions of the pandemic rendered many of the programmes that included an international workshop unfulfilled. Costs of such programmes were estimated at 15,000 Euros for Non-EU students and
