In a series of posts on his Instagram Story on Monday (January 11), Rich called out his Rich Forever Music signee, alleging Critch signed a new deal behind his back and tried to cut him out of what the
Boss Man rapper says is his rightfully-owed cut.
“Your own n-ggas will try to snake you for 100k if you needed it you could just ask me !!!” Rich wrote. “DAMN No amount of money could turn me snake.. NOT 500k or 5 million. Tell these ppl The truth how I get YOU A DEAL AND YOU TRY TO CROSS ME OUT.”
After people started to point out that Rich has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons as of late and could likely be the source of the issue, he responded by doubling down and accusing Critch of being disloyal.
Jay Critch is fed up with the Rich Forever Music imprint and he s putting the label on blast via social media.
On Saturday night (Jan. 9), the Brooklyn rapper aired out his grievances with Rich The Kid s label on his Instagram Story with a trio of scathing posts. Up until this point, Jay Critch was associated with Rich and the label. I am not Rich Forever. That shit been a dub, Jay wrote on his IG Story. Stop letting these niggas cap about owning masters [and] shit. They tryna hold niggas in bum ass deals. Niggas be your brother until the business come up. Then it s all this lawyer talk, contact talk. Not real nigga shit.
Signed with Love is the first solo release from the Rich Forever Music signee in the two-years since his album
Hood Favorite debuted on the Billboard 200 Chart at No. 86 with guest verses from Fabolous, Offset and French Montana. Rich The Kid gave a shout out to his artist on Instagram Wednesday (December 23), alerting his followers Jay dropped while also co-signing him as the best to do it from his city.
“The BEST rapper out of NY @jaycritch dropped!” Rich wrote in the caption. “What’s your favorite song ???”
It hasn’t all been bad, though. Last month, Rich teamed up with YoungBoy Never Broke Again for the collaborative effort,
Nobody Safe. Featuring 15 tracks and arriving via Rich Forever Music and EMPIRE, the project included appearances from Lil Wayne, Quando Rondo and Rod Wave.
