Dunkley of MMA Aviation honored with General Aviation Award

COSHOCTON - An employee of MMS Aviation was recently among three honored with General Aviation Awards by the Federal Aviation Administration.
Michael C. Dunkley of Coshocton was named the Aviation Technician of the Year. Other awards went to Ronald J. Timmermans of Orlando, Florida, for Certified Flight Instructor of the Year and Timothy Magee of Swisher, Iowa, for the FAA Safety Team Representative of the Year. The awards will be presented at EAA AirVenture in July in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
Dunkley, who was born in England, spent his early years growing up in Zimbabwe (formerly Rhodesia) and then undergoing an apprenticeship at Air Rhodesia/Air Zimbabwe that led to a full-time job as a technician for the airline.
