Man fatally shot by police in Olivia identified; no bodycam footage

The man fatally shot by police in Olivia, Minnesota on Sunday, July 4, has been identified along with the officer who shot him.
Ricardo Torres, Jr., 32, of Olivia, died from multiple gunshot wounds following the encounter with police, with the officer who shot him identified as Olivia PD Officer Aaron Clouse, an 11-year veteran with the force who has been placed on standard administrative leave.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is investigating the shooting, which it says happened in an alley behind 821 East Lincoln Avenue in Olivia at around 2:20 a.m.
