Walmart To Raise Wages For 425,000 Workers After Massive 2020 Sales Performance

Font Size: Walmart announced it will raise wages for 425,000 store associates serving in “frontline” roles after the company reported record fourth-quarter revenue. Signed into law by President Trump on August 4, 2020, the Great American Outdoors Act (GAOA) received largely bipartisan support from Congress – a difficult task these days.  The GAOA is especially noteworthy because it boosts funding for outdoor recreation and conservation of public lands and water resources. It is also expected to bring economic benefits through job creation and increased tourism.
