Flying out of Cleveland Hopkins International Airport anytime soon? You re likely to get a good fare, based on this analysis from FinanceBuzz.com.
The financial website compiled its U.S. Airport Cost Rankings using 2020 data from the Bureau of Transportation Statistics to see how airfares compare at 45 of the nation s busiest airports. (An obvious caveat: 2020 was an unusual year, to say the least, for air travel, though it was unusual for everyone.)
Hopkins was No. 8 on its list of the 10 cheapest departure airports, trailing only McCarran International (Las Vegas), Ft. Lauderdale Hollywood International, Orlando International, Chicago Midway, Oakland International, Denver International and New Orleans International. Trailing Hopkins to round out the top 10 are San Jose International and Dallas Love Field.

According to a new study by FinanceBuzz comparing domestic airfares from 45 of the busiest U.S. airports, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) is the second cheapest airport to fly out of in the United States. Following close third is Orlando International Airport (MCO).
The study states the average airfare flying out of FLL is $214.87.
