Highfield Road will be closed tomorrow Thursday (August 5) and Friday (August 6). It will be closed between Windmill Hill and Rosendale Close, and between Rosendale Close and the eastern boundary of no.205 Highfield Crescent between 9.30am and 2pm each day. The diversion will be via Windmill Hill, Colman Hill, Banners Lane, Colman Hill Avenue, Highfield Crescent, and vice versa. Vehicular traffic at the narrow section of road between Highfield Avenue and Colman Hill will be managed with Stop/Go Boards. A spokesman for Dudley Council said: The purpose of the restriction is to safely facilitate carriageway patching. Access to properties and for emergency services will be maintained where safe to do so.
