Boy band Seventeen to drop new single in Japan in April February 3, 2021
K-pop boy band Seventeen will be releasing its third single album in Japan in April, the band’s management said Wednesday.
The new album, titled “Hitorijianai” in Japanese, meaning “you’re not alone,” will be released on April 21, according to Pledis Entertainment. It comes a year after the act dropped its second Japanese single “Fallin’ Flower,” also in April last year.
Pledis explained that the upcoming album carries three songs, including the namesake new Japanese title track as well as a Japanese version of the band’s previous hit “HOME;RUN.”

Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train anime film. It took 81 days for the single to achieve the feat, the fastest in the Recording Industry Association of Japan s history. The single s disc release is also certified Platinum for selling more than 250,000 CD copies.

On Friday, Jan. 15, KBS announced that they will be conducting an untact global project for the Lunar New Year that will be called Chosun Pop Again. This means that fans of Korean music from all over the world can watch the show. KBS also shared that they will be recruiting 500 domestic and international online audiences.
Planned by Kim Ho Sang and directed by Song Joon Young, the Lunar New Year s special Chosun Pop Again was designed with the intent to open a new year full of excitement. The global big show will be showcasing various genres of music such as Korean traditional music, crossover music, trot, and hip hop. It is expected to present an upgraded untact performance to entertain viewers.
BTS’s “Dynamite” has become their first song to be certified gold for digital downloads in Japan!
The Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) has officially awarded “Dynamite” a gold certification in the download category after the song surpassed over 100,000 digital download sales.
Although BTS has previously received gold certifications from the RIAJ for both physical albums and online streaming of songs ”Dynamite” was certified gold in the streaming category last month after surpassing 50 million streams this latest achievement marks the first time that one of BTS’s songs has received a gold certification for downloads.
According to the RIAJ’s certification thresholds, songs are certified gold once they reach 100,000 downloads and platinum at 250,000 downloads.
