The MRTA provides for a regulatory scheme with multiple governing offices encompassing multiple license tiers, automatic expungements, home grow and social equity provisions. EU Settlement Scheme guidance | Chartered Institute for Archaeologists

Any EU , EEA, or Swiss citizen who was resident in the UK before 1 January 2021 and who does not have indefinite leave to remain in the UK must apply to the Settlement Scheme to continue to remain and work in the UK after 30 June 2021. Note: Irish citizens do not need to apply for Settlement. CIfA is encouraging all members who are eligible for the Settlement Scheme to consider applying. Application is free and is the easiest and cheapest route for most EU/EAA citizens to retain the rights to live, work, or study in the UK for an indefinite period. However, this is a time-limited offer being made by the UK Government. If eligible individuals have not applied before 30 Jun 2021, they may lose the right to reside and work in the UK.

Why has Australia s United Workers Union refused strike pay to locked-out Coles workers?

Why has Australia’s United Workers Union refused strike pay to locked-out Coles workers? One of the key issues raised by workers throughout the near-three month lockout of Coles supermarket warehouse workers at Smeaton Grange in southwestern Sydney has been why the United Workers Union (UWU) has rejected calls to provide strike pay, let alone organise solidarity action by any of its 150,000 or more members. Last Tuesday, the Smeaton Grange workers voted, 167 to 163, to reject the latest sellout deal struck between Coles and the UWU, taking a significant stand against the sweeping destruction of jobs and conditions being unleashed by the employers in the strategic warehousing, delivery and logistics industries, and throughout the working class as a whole.
