My daughter, Charles-Anne Wardlaw, and my son, Chris, are nurses at Sault Area Hospital. Their dedication to their profession over the years has made this parent proud, and it has become especially that way during the pandemic. During it they have followed the rules laid down by the government and health officials in the fight against Covid-19 to such an extent that as of this writing I haven’t had a visit since sometime in December. I know I am not alone in this. I suspect it is occurring in most families with nurses within their ranks. But not all.
