Lehane graduated from Archbishop Moeller High School in 2018, school officials confirmed Thursday. Lehane faces one count felony – tampering with evidence – and another 16 misdemeanors. He is charged with obstructing official business, eight counts of hazing and seven counts of failing to comply with underage drinking laws. Prosecutors have accused Lehane of participating in the hazing of at least six other people in addition to Foltz. He is also accused of allowing seven different underage people to drink, the youngest being 19, according to court documents. Bowling Green State University Students Face Felony, Misdemeanor Charges After Fraternity Hazing Death 04/29/21 AT 5:18 PM Eight people are facing criminal charges over the death of a Bowling Green State University student following a hazing incident. On Wednesday, a grand jury indicted the individuals on a variety of charges, including felonious assault. Of those indicted, six were current students at the university, and two were former students. Six of the people face involuntary manslaughter charges, which could carry up to a three-year prison sentence. Other charges include violating underage alcohol laws, felonious assault, hazing, reckless homicide, and obstructing official business. However, Jacob Krinn, 20, was the only individual who was charged with first-degree manslaughter, which is punishable by up to 11 years in prison.

Bowling Green student: Grand jury indicts 8 in drinking-related death at fraternity party CNN 4/29/2021 © Courtesy Foltz Family Eight people were indicted Thursday in the death of Bowling Green State University student Stone Foltz, who died after drinking at a fraternity event, prosecutors said in a news release. The indictments stem from an alleged Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity event the evening of March 4th at an off-campus house which Mr. Foltz was required to attend along with the other new members, according to the release from Wood County Prosecuting Attorney Paul A. Dobson. Foltz was later found unresponsive in his apartment, said the prosecutor s release. The Lucas County Coroner ruled the death an accident as the result of a fatal level of alcohol intoxication during a hazing incident, according to the release.
