COVID-19 Has Killed Over 3 Million Worldwide – Veterans Today | Military Foreign Affairs Policy Journal for Clandestine Services

Health Editor’s Note: The U.S. has an intensified vaccination program when compared to other countries of the world. For instance, Brazil has had to deal with President Bolsonaro who is of the Trump ilk as he also downplayed COVID-19 and the citizens of Brazil continue to pay the unacceptable price of mounting deaths.  Brazil’s daily coronavirus deaths account for one quarter of the world’s total numbers of dead. With the use of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine placed on hold, the world is losing an opportunity to vaccinate with only one dose required. This will take a heavy toll on the populations that are harder to vaccinate, the homeless, transient, etc., because the one shot vaccine was a very efficient way to deliver the vaccine.  Also, poorer countries have been using vaccines made by Russia and China and these vaccines may offer less protection than those being used in richer portions of the world.
