BOWLING GREEN, Ohio The Bowling Green State University community held a memorial Sunday evening in honor of a Bowling Green State University sophomore from Delaware County who died following an alleged hazing incident.
University President Rodney Rodgers, students and friends of Stone Foltz gathered outside the Doyt L. Perry Stadium at BGSU and spoke about the memories they had of the Buckeye Valley graduate.

Bowling Green State University in Ohio honored the life of a recently deceased student. Friends family and classmates of Stone Foltz, the college sophomore who died last week following an alleged hazing incident, remembered him at a socially-distanced memorial service.
The university said Foltz died March 7 after being hospitalized for three days following an off-campus fraternity event. Students held a moment of silence Tuesday and then marched through campus to protest hazing. The group also called for the fraternity’s expulsion from campus.

(BOWLING GREEN, Ohio) Friends, family and classmates of Stone Foltz, the Bowling Green State University sophomore who died last week following an alleged hazing incident, gathered on campus Sunday to pay tribute to the late student.
The memorial service took place at the Doyt L. Perry Stadium, and featured remarks from school President Rodney Rogers as well as Foltz s friends, the school announced. COVID-19 procedures were in place, including mask wearing and social distancing, according to the university.
On March 7, Foltz, a sophomore in the university s College of Business, died after being hospitalized for three days following an alleged hazing activity involving alcohol consumption at an off-campus Pi Kappa Alpha event, the university said in a statement.
