Jim Stanford spent the last eight years of his life vigorously fighting for and against various matters connected to Snow King Mountain Resort, aka âthe Town Hill,â as a member of the Jackson Town Council.
Now that heâs left the council â Stanford opted not to run for a third term and left the council at the turn of the new year â heâs able to enjoy the fruits of that labor, with his backyard sitting in Snow Kingâs shadow.
âIt feels great,â Stanford said in a recent interview. âIâm on day three as a free man. My first day as a free man was a powder day on Snow King, right behind my house here.
Democracy attacked
There are so many pillars of our fragile democracy under attack right now.
