Frontier Airlines announces new seasonal service from Kalispell

KALISPELL â Additional airline service is coming to Northwest Montana as Frontier Airlines will begin new seasonal service from Kalispell to Denver beginning in June.
âWe are pleased to add Frontier Airlines to the GPIA family,â said Glacier Park International Airport Director Rob Ratkowski. âThe country is beginning to reopen, and people are ready to travel again. The addition of Frontier Airlines will provide low-cost options to access more of the country from right here in Kalispell.â
Frontier will offer seasonal flights to Denver beginning June 17 and running through October 10. Flights to Denver on Frontier will run every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday throughout the season.

CO blizzard impacts Missoula, Kalispell airport flights

MISSOULA â The blizzard that s been hitting the Denver area is impacting flights in both Missoula and Kalispell.
The United Airlines flight from the Denver International Airport to the Missoula International Airport that was scheduled to arrive at 1:57 p.m. on Monday has been canceled.
As a result, the United return flight to Denver which was set to leave at 2:44 p.m. has also been canceled.
Additionally, the United Airlines flights due to arrive at Glacier Park International Airport at 1:47 p.m. and 4:05 p.m. have been canceled.

Just a month after Allegiant announced it would be flying to airports serving Yellowstone and Glacier national parks, Alaska Airlines is following suit, with plans to launch seasonal service in late May.
Alaska, which has been rapidly expanding its routes in California, will begin flying May 20 to Kalispell, Mont., via Glacier Park International Airport and Bozeman, Mont.,
via Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport. The daily flights will be available through Sept. 7.
The announcement follows news last month that Allegiant would be flying to the two airports twice weekly for the summer season. Its routes are scheduled to operate through mid-August.
