A teacher accused of soliciting a 2-year old girl for sex through her father is being fired by the Palm Beach County School District.
27-year old Xavier Alexander is being held on $1 million bond after deputies arrested him at a motel in Lantana. Investigators say he showed up to meet a 2-year old girl and told an undercover deputy disguised through text messages as the child s father that he wanted to have sex with her.
The district says it delivered a letter to Alexander at the county jail. The letter notified the 4th grade teacher at Grove Park Elementary that his employment had been terminated on April 2. The Palm Beach County School Board will take a final vote on his termination this month.
