former football player Travis Rudolph, who played in the US university league with Florida State University (FSU) and in the NFL,
he was arrested after a firearm altercation that left one person dead and another injured.
According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office,
Rudolph, 25, has been charged with first degree murder and attempted murder in the first degree, and is being held without bail in a jail in this South Florida county.

Former Florida State football star Travis Rudolph used a rifle in a Lake Park shooting that left one person dead and another person injured, a witness told deputies.
Rudolph, 25, was
arrested early Wednesday on one count of first-degree murder and three counts of attempted first-degree murder.
According to a Palm Beach County Sheriff s Office probable cause affidavit, Rudolph shot two people during an altercation outside a home in the 500 block of North Redwood Drive in Lake Park just after midnight Wednesday.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, Rudolph was arrested early Wednesday morning following a double shooting in Lake Park, Fla.
USA Today reports two different versions of events leading up to the shooting are making the rounds.
Both versions are in agreement that Rudolph had a fight with a woman on Tuesday who’s believed to be his girlfriend. Both versions are in agreement that some time following that fight, a group of four people drove to Rudolph’s home.

Ex-NFL, FSU wide receiver Travis Rudolph jailed on first-degree murder charge
Travis Rudolph, a former wide receiver for the Florida State Seminoles, is facing a first-degree murder charge in connection with a shooting early Wednesday morning, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to a double shooting in Lake Park, Florida, soon after midnight Wednesday, the sheriff’s office said in a statement. One man at the scene had been taken to a local hospital for treatment. Another man was found dead not far away in the city of West Palm Beach, the sheriff’s office said.
