DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA A former Upper Makefield restaurateur set to face trial in Bucks County in April was arrested on new charges in Florida on Thursday.
Andrew Abruzzese, 37, was arrested by the Delray Beach Police Department on charges of forgery, possessing counterfeit credit cards and cocaine possession, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff s Office.
Abruzzese, whose family owns the popular Pineville Tavern, is already facing criminal charges in Bucks County stemming from an incident on Feb. 4, 2020, in which he shot a pellet gun at two occupied homes in Solebury, the Bucks County District Attorney s Office said.
A 50-year-old Palm Beach County man is facing a murder charge following the shooting death of a man that he suspected of being in an abusive relationship with his adult daughter.
Fred Tassy, 25, of Boynton Beach, is the last of five people arrested for an armed home invasion robbery and shooting that left one man critically wounded, police said.
