Also approves onboarding of Clariant as majority partner in IGL Green ChemicalsThe Board of India Glycols at its meeting held on 11 March 2021 has approved the execution of the business transfer agreement on 11 March 2021 for transfer of Company s BioEO (Speciality Chemicals) Business to IGL Green Chemicals (IGCPL), a wholly owned subsidiary.
The Board also approved entering into a joint venture with IGCPL and Clariant International (Clariant), in connection with, inter alia, investment by Clariant in IGCPL and issuance of subscription shares by IGCPL to Clariant, which will result in IGCPL becoming a 51 :49 joint venture, in
which 51% stake will be held by Clariant and the remaining 49% stake will be held by the Company.
The initial public offer of speciality chemicals company Anupam Rasayan India Limited was subscribed 1.29 times on the first day of subscription on Friday. The Rs 760-crore public issue received bids for 1,25,08,209 shares against 97,01,809 shares on offer, according to NSE data. The category for non-institutional investors was subscribed 9 per cent and those for retail individual investors (RIIs) 2.58 times. Price range for the offer, which would close on Tuesday, has been fixed at Rs 553-555 per share. Anupam Rasayan had on Wednesday raised Rs 225 crore from anchor investors. The initial public offer (IPO) is an entirely fresh issuance of equity shares and proceeds of the issue would be mainly used to pay the debt.
ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund (MF) sold 8.10 lakh equity shares, or 0.32% stake, in Tata Chemicals on Thursday, 4 March 2021.As a result of the aforesaid transactions, the shareholding of the fund has decreased to 3.05% compared with 3.37% held earlier.
On a consolidated basis, the chemical maker s net profit rose 0.2% to Rs 200.72 crore on a 0.7% decline in net sales to Rs 2,606.08 crore in Q3 FY21 over Q3 FY20.
