Mahmood is a familiar face on the Staten Island breakfast shop route. He came to Staten Island from Pakistan in 1992 and tended a store at Castleton Avenue and Broadway in West Brighton. He moved on to Get and Go Hot Bagels in Dongan Hills and Puttin’ on a Bagel in West Brighton, formerly by Richmond University Medical Center. He takes his recipes now to New Dorp.
