Date from the Cassini spacecraft provides new info on Saturn s magnetic field

After completing all of its objectives and its propellant exhausted, the Cassini spacecraft was sent plunging to its demise into Saturn s atmosphere in September of 2017 after performing a  Grand Finale by zooming through the gap between the planet and its rings. Proposed Interstellar Probe gains momentum with Johns Hopkins study – Astronomy Now

The heliosphere is distorted by the solar system’s motion through the interstellar medium. A proposed Interstellar Probe would venture much farther into interstellar space than either of NASA’s Voyager spacecraft.
