Health insurance for military members and their families falls under the DOD through TRICARE, and for autism, plans cover occupational therapy, physical therapy, physician services, psychological services, psychological testing, prescription drugs and speech therapy.

In a flurry of legislative acts passed between 2010 and 2015, Massachusetts, where I live, became the 22nd state to mandate insurance coverage of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) as a behavioral health benefit for autism. The state’s market for ABA services has been booming ever since.

Over 18.5 % respondents feel male and female students are not treated in a like manner when it comes to career opportunities during campus placements. However, while campus recruitment is pretty diverse in its hiring, the latter data on career progression and role models show an alarming drop.
