A group calling itself The Concerned Patriots of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Zebilla Constituency of the Upper East Region has called for disciplinary action against some party executives over claims of misconduct leading to the loss of the parliamentary seat.
The group alleged that the party chairman Hon. Patrick Ayaaba, Secretary Hon. Cletus Ayariga, Hon. Desmond Bugbilla former District Chief Executive, Dr Kingsley Krugu and some party members openly campaigned against the defeated incumbent NPP MP, Hon. Frank Fuseini Adongo.
The youth group described as wickedness, vindictiveness, greed, selfishness and misconduct of some key constituency executives which led to the abysmal performance of the party in the constituency.
