WORTHINGTON ― A Sandstone resident is facing charges for four additional criminal offenses in connection with multiple crimes that took place in Worthington this summer.
Brian Baragar was arrested June 17 for possession of stolen property and DWI. On June 19, Baragar had hurt himself while in Nobles County Jail and had to be taken to Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota for treatment. While there, he allegedly checked himself out of the hospital without receiving the surgery he needed, and escaped police custody with the help of his sister.
