Farren Care Center in Turners Falls is scheduled to discharge the last of its residents this week, bringing to a close a much-praised ministry established by the Sisters of Providence of Holyoke in the 1990s for hard-to-place individuals with chronic medical as well as behavioral conditions in need of both short-and long-term care.
