THREE centres for people to receive the Coronavirus vaccine in South Lakeland are set to open - but their locations have not yet been revealed. Giles Archibald, the leader of South Lakeland District Council (SLDC), said he could not confirm where they will be located - nor when they will be open.
GILES ARCHIBALD: Vaccination centres are on the way His comments came as part of his end of year review to the authority s cabinet. He said: “I think because of Covid we should all take care over the Christmas period. We have made it this far, and relief is in sight. “Track and trace have responded magnificently as part of the challenge. I have been asked not to indicate the locations at this stage of three locations for vaccination but our officers are working hard with these centres to facilitate the ease of access.
