Image: 123RF/Weerapat Kiatdumrong Gift of the Givers said their team will be drilling for water at the Rahima Moosa Mother and Child Hospital to avert a water crisis there. “Having delivered bottled water on 28 and 31 May, Gift of the Givers drilling teams will be arriving at the hospital shortly, having been granted permission by the management and infrastructure team to drill for water,” said the organisation s founder, Imtiaz Sooliman.

Gift of the Givers donates food parcels in Duncan Village after heartbreaking reports

More than 200 residents gathered at the Duncan Village sports ground where they eagerly awaited to receive food parcels from the Gift of the Givers on Friday. The hand-over was part of a three-day initiative, supported by Woolworths, which kicked off in Mthatha. Gardening equipment, fertiliser and seeds were also handed over to the local Seeds Community Development Foundation, which had alerted Gift of the Givers to the plight of people living in Duncan Village.
