A Catholic Church in the English city of Leicester says it has experienced a “crime wave” after a series of incidents of vandalism.
LEICESTER, United Kingdom – A Catholic Church in the English city of Leicester says it has experienced a “crime wave” after a series of incidents of vandalism.
The Dominican-run church is located in the city’s downtown area and has historically been the center of Catholicism in Leicester.
On Dec. 29, the windows of the church’s Lady chapel were smashed in the morning, and the suspect – who was later arrested by police – shouted verbal abuse at staff members.

He
was born on April 21, 1930, in Delphos to Frank A. Suever and Rosemary
E. Suever, who preceded him in death. He married Ann N. Suever, who also
preceded him in death after more than 58 years of marriage.
He is
survived by eight children, Rick (Sharon) Suever of Huntsville,
Alabama, Karen (Bob) Kimmey of Urbana, Illinois, Sue (Jack) Borchgrevink
of Houston, Texas, Patty Stephens of Atlanta, Kathy Grey (David) of
Maple Grove, Minnesota, and David (Beverly) Suever, Peggy (Larry) Flynn
