Church members head back to the pews
SHREVEPORT, Louisiana (KTBS) Tomorrow morning more than 100 parishioners of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Shreveport will be walking through the doors. Today, the preparations are underway to keep them safe.
“We have to make sure there’s enough people, but not too many. We divide people into groups so it’s not a big congregated effort. It’s a huge team effort. Everybody is working together,” said Mary Dickman of Shreveport.
Due to COVID-19, church attendance suffered greatly in 2020. According to the Barna Group, a Christian Polling Firm, one in three practicing Christians has stopped going to church.

Biden took his first Air Force One flight as president on Friday, jetting home to Wilmington, Delaware, where he and first lady Jill Biden are expected to stay through Sunday. The trip comes after the White House had a quiet two days last weekend, at least in the public eye.

Five days into office, President
Joe Biden visited a local restaurant, and a few hundred tenants calling for rent cancelation paid a member of his team a visit. If the first few days are any indication of the next four years, Biden will actually engage with local D.C., unlike his predecessor, and locals will not be afraid to engage with him or his administration.
