The credit ratings agency is expecting India’s economy to grow 10% in fiscal year 2022, which runs from April 1 thru March 31 in the following year.
“The Indian economy is on track to recover in fiscal 2022,” a S&P Global Ratings report said, according to a CNBC article. “Consistently good agriculture performance, a flattening of the Covid-19 infection curve, and a pickup in government spending are all supporting the economy.”

Reflecting the changing attitudes of the U.S. real estate market in the post-coronavirus pandemic world, overseas investors are purchasing more suburban warehouses instead of targeting skyscrapers or coastal resorts, the Wall Street Journal reports.
Foreign buyers “see that type of investment as effectively a corporate bond given by one of the largest companies in the world,” Matthew Alshouse, a partner at law firm DLA Piper, told the WSJ.

Exchange traded funds (ETFs) are highly praised for their distinct advantages over mutual funds. A recent Financial Times article noted that recent research shows that inherent tax advantages make the ETF vehicle most appealing.
“A shift in US investor flows away from mutual funds towards exchange traded funds is being driven primarily by a tax loophole, rather than any inherent advantage of the ETF structure, a team of academics has concluded,” the article explained. “In the past decade, US investors have pulled $1tn from actively managed US mutual funds, with a similar amount flowing into ETFs.”
