Posted by scottsuhr on More details from a fatal Christmas Day shooting in Black Hawk County have been released, according to KWWL. 43 year old Chad Buck had become violent after an argument with his 67 year old father, David. Both David and his wife Kay claim that the father shot the son in self defense, killing him. Just three days later authorities were again called to the same address on East Airline Highway, this time for a cardiac medical episode. Efforts were made to save David’s life but he died at a hospital. He was said to be in frail medical condition prior to the episode. The Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Office considers both of these cases closed.
