EITâs School of Health and Sport Science plan to launch several other micro-credentials this year in the same field, covering topics such as working with groups, understanding addiction, Ethics and Professionalism, and Interventions for Addiction.

Bay’s leaders say the recent COVID-19 community cases in
Auckland and Northland are a timely reminder of the
importance of using the track and trace app.
Hawke’s
Bay District Health Board chief executive, Keriana Brooking,
says it’s vital the local community take the recommended
simple actions to keep Hawke’s Bay and New Zealand
safe.
“Stay home if you’re unwell and get advice
on whether you need a test from your GP or Healthline. If
you are told to get a test, do so immediately and isolate
yourself until you receive your result.”

It s the coolest place to work in Hawke s Bay, but during a heatwave, it s not the easiest. As temperatures soared around the region on Wednesday - the highest officially recorded mark was 34.2 degrees Celsius - Hawke s Bay Ice Company got busy.
Managing director Simon McFarland said his employees often worked at sub-zero temperatures.
