You’d be hard-pressed to find anyone who would describe 2020 as a “great” year, or even a good one. The overall negative feelings about this year have people anxiously awaiting January 1 on Friday. One restaurant chain decided to channel those negative feelings about this year through food.
The restaurant chain surveyed fans, and in turn, used survey results as inspiration for creating the sandwich. They revealed it on YouTube, and then asked “unsuspecting participants” to try it, the report said.

In what definitely is the most unappealing burger of the year, Burger King Brazil has created a sandwich in tribute to the terrible year of 2020.
The fast-food chain burger includes such unfitting toppings such as soggy noodles, sardines, caramel sauce, raisins, fish, and Jell-O – all topped on a burnt bun, to show the “terror” of the year that was filled with everything from the coronavirus to murder hornets.
The burger was shown on Burger King Brazil’s YouTube channel, where it challenged customers to try it, and the reactions were not good. Consumers were not interested out and couldn’t choke the burger down no matter how hard they tried.
That’s one gross burger.
It’s likely that 2020 won’t be remembered as a great year for all that many people. Between the coronavirus pandemic and the resulting lockdowns, many people can’t seem to wait for 2020 to finally come to an end. And one restaurant chain was inspired to turn those feelings into food.
Burger King in Brazil recently decided to create a burger that exemplifies the general feeling of 2020. After surveying fans, the restaurant chain used the results as inspiration for the sandwich, which it revealed on YouTube and then asked unsuspecting participants to try.
Based on the reactions, this sandwich is unlikely to make it to the menu anytime soon.
