Anyone that knows me knows that I am a little bit crackers, I love to dress up in crazy fancy dress costumes and basically act the goat. I think my children have more sense than me! Inside I feel I am 21 with a mental age of a six year old. Ever the joker and always pranking someone. So why do I struggle with my dress sense, how to have my hair, my make up style now that I am in my 50’s? Don’t get me wrong, 50 is not old and I’m not saying that. Burnley based flagship project to help ex veterans is full just two months after opening its doors Two months after opening its doors, a flagship project in Burnley that offers a lifeline to ex soldiers struggling to get back on their feet, is full. Friday, 26th February 2021, 3:45 pm And there is a waiting list for people desperate for the services of Healthier Heroes, a hub for veterans and their families. The success of the project has topped all expectations of founder Andrew Powell, an ex soldier himself who set up the project in December 2020, after completing a successful project previously. But it was always his dream to launch Healthier Heroes in his hometown of Burnley.
