A man who repeatedly stamped on his Staffordshire bull terrierâs head has been banned from keeping animals.
Paramedics were attending an incident in Hunton Road, Erdington, on April 2, 2020, when Karl Daniel Haden walked in with his dog, named Hunter, on a lead.
The medic spotted 34-year-old Haden aggressively shouting at his dog before stomping on it s head at least four times.

The 22-year-old was discovered with serious injuries in Holly Road on Sunday morning (7 February). A post mortem has revealed Mr Ghafar, from Birmingham, died as a result of stab wounds to the neck. A 33-year-old man has been charged with his murder and was remanded into custody after appearing at Birmingham Magistrates Court on Tuesday. Detective Inspector Stuart Mobberley, from our homicide unit, said: Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Mr Ghafar at this deeply distressing time. We re doing what we can to support them during these early stages of grief. Although we ve charged a man in connection with Mr Ghafar s murder we re still keen to hear from anyone with information which can assist our ongoing enquiries.”
