Essex man charged with murder after 16-year-old boy dies in moped crash A man from Essex has been charged with murder after a 16-year-old boy was killed in a crash between a car and moped. Paul Biggs is one of two men to have been charged with murder by police. Liam Mooney was critically injured in the collision in Rocky Lane, Birmingham, at around 7.20pm on March 22. He had been riding pillion on a moped at the time and died from his injuries in hospital the next day. The incident also involved a Volvo car, West Midlands Police have said.
