WINSLOW - A Sicklerville man is accused of shooting at children here, police say.
No one was hurt when Marquan Mack, 24, allegedly fired a single shot after an argument with youngsters between the ages of 8 and 13, said Winslow Township police.
The bullet passed through a fence before hitting the living room wall of a nearby home, according to a police account.
The incident occurred near Linden Court and Lehigh Manor Drive around 8:30 p.m. on April 19, the account said.
It said officers who responded to the scene learned an unknown man and woman were walking on Lehigh Manor Drive when they argued with the juveniles. The man pulled a gun from his waistband and shot once in the children s direction.
CAMDEN - An Atlantic County man has received a prison term for drug crimes, according to the U.S. Attorney s Office for New Jersey.
Joseph Brandenberger, 36, of Absecon previously admitted guilt to offenses that included possessing heroin, cocaine and methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, the federal prosecutor s office said in a statement.
He received a 6½-year term during a virtual hearing Monday in Camden federal court.
WILLINGBORO - A township high school student was fatally shot outside his home on Thursday night, authorities say.
Yahsinn Robinson, 18, was gunned down around 11:30 p.m. on the first block of Barrington Lane, according to the Burlington County Prosecutor s Office.
Robinson, a senior at Willingboro High School, was pronounced dead at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds, the prosecutor s office said.
In a Facebook post, Kalimah Perry described Robinson as her cousin,and an honor roll stutdent, chess master (and) musician. He was a gentle giant and kind to everyone who crossed his path, she wrote, adding Robinson was attacked while returning home from work.
