Johnalex Grullon, 21, acknowledged at a court hearing that he d been smoking marijuana prior to an October 2019 crash on the New Jersey Turnpike in Mansfield, said the Burlington County Prosecutor s Office. Grullon did not refute toxicology tests that showed marijuana in his system at a level that left him unable to drive safely, the prosecutor s office said in a statement. The Union City man also admitted to driving recklessly when his Honda Accord  veered off the highway, hit a guardrail and spun across all lanes before hitting a concrete median barrier, the statement said.
