Cash amounting to $70,000 scattered throughout the luggage of an accused cocaine supplier was seized by a Customs officer as the man tried to flee New Zealand, a jury has heard.
Ryszard Wilk is one of three men on trial at the High Court in Auckland charged with importation of 4kg of the class A drug in 2016, as part of an alleged international drug syndicate.

Summary
NDA authorities say there is need for people to buy drugs form licensed drug shops and pharmacies to ensure they are not duped into buying deadly-fake or expired drugs.

“The operation led to inspection of 787 drug outlets
, of which 283 were issued with closure notices and closed. Medicines impounded in the operation comprised of 408 boxes of assorted medicines with an estimated value of about Shs204 million,” he said.
5,000kg fake honey seized

LAHORE: In a grand operation against adulterated honey, Punjab Food Authority (PFA) confiscated 5,000 Kg fake honey here on Tuesday. A team led by PFA DG carried out raids and confiscated 5,000 kg fake honey from six units. The confiscated honey was destroyed. The PFA team also confiscated 2,000 kg glucose, 500 kg sugar, 10 burners and 8 cylinders which were being used to make fake honey. PFA DG Rafaqat Ali Niswana said the operation against fake honey manufacturers was carried out in the areas of Badami Bagh and Railway Station. He said fake honey was being made from glucose, sugar and bright colours. Any complaint related to food items could be registered through PFA’s toll-free number or Facebook, the PFA DG said.

15,000kg of fake tea leaves seized in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Food Safety and Halal Food Authority (KP FS&HFA) has seized over 15,000kg of substandard and fake tea from a local factory on Ashraf Road here.
The fake tea processing unit was using non-food grade colours and other unhealthy items in the tea leaves. The raid was carried out on the directions of Director General KP FS&HFA, Shah Rukh Ali Khan.
According to the food safety authority, the fake tea leaves from the unit were seized and the sample was sent to the laboratory for further analysis.
